Affiliate disclosure

This site doesn't carry any affiliate links yet. When it does, this page will name each programme, and every guide with affiliate links will say so at the top, before the first link.

How affiliate links appear

• Every guide with affiliate links has a notice at the top, before the first link.
• Affiliate links are marked for search engines as sponsored.
• Prices, star ratings and stock levels are never quoted. They change too quickly to be accurate, so the site says what a product is for instead.
• Emails from this site, if it ever sends any, never contain affiliate links. They link to the guides instead.

How products are chosen

• The guide comes first. A product appears where the guide states a need it meets, never the other way round.
• Every product is checked by a person. Each link is opened to confirm it's the right product before it's used, and checked again every few months.
• General selections are labelled. When a guide has no specific product to suggest, any products shown at the end are headed "Popular in" the section, so they aren't mistaken for a recommendation.
• No paid placements. No brand pays to be included in a guide.
